Special Assistance
Wheelchair assistance on XL Airways flights is always available free of charge. In addition, a range of special dietary meals may be requested free of charge on flights that include a meal in the service (those with a flight number ending in 4 digits- all other flights offer a pay-on-board menu and no special meals are available).
The three types of boarding assistance are:
- Assistance from check-in to the aircraft
- Assistance from check-in to the gate lounge
- Lift assistance onto the aircraft
The types of special meal available are:
- Child meal
- Diabetic meal
- Gluten-free meal
- Hindu meal
- Lactose-free meal
- Nut-free meal
- Vegan meal
- Vegetarian meal
- Please note: Kosher meals are available at a charge of £12
Passengers booked on an XL Airways flight may arrange wheelchair assistance and special meals in advance using our online Pre-flight booking system, or over the telephone to our Pre-flight Help line at 0871 911 4221.
